How long do I have to pay?

I know that I have made mistakes in my past, but I am trying to get my life straightened out. I just started to feel like I was moving forward, and then I read something that James posted on facebook back on March 6th. It was the anniversary of when our marriage ended, and what he wrote cut me to the quick. The thing is I wouldn't have ever known he had posted it, but I was on our son's account checking to see if some family had responded to their 8th grade celebration invite.

I give up, I was in such a good mood, but now I feel like I have been stabbed in the back. I won't be sharing this post on facebook, but I needed to vent. So only if someone has a link here will anyone will see it.

Ok.. yesterday I went to Topeka with James and we had a lovely lunch at Olive Garden. It gave us a chance to really talk about a lot of things going on. No we are not going to be getting back together, but we were able to work out somethings.

I am having one of those days, I need to vaccum the house.. but why? I should do the dishes, but why? It's so much easier to sit on my rear and do nothing.

New Beginning

I have been in a flunk for a year now. My Marriage has ended, got into a bad relationship that ended up harming not only me but my children. Would have been homeless but for the Grace of God and my ex husband letting me live with him and the kids.

I took a CNA class and passed with flying colors, while I don't have a steady 8 hour job, I do have work with one lady doing home health.

I am battling depression, but am not going to give into it. My kids deserve to have a mother around, if for no other reason than to LOVE them with all her heart. That is my JOB, and I will fight for every right to do it.

Lately I have felt down, I have been to two funerals this month. One of a 17 yr old boy who was like another son to me. And my cousin Kenny who was only 3 yrs older than me. It has been hard to know how quick life can change.

Another school year is comming up, Aug. 11th and I didn't finish last years. It can carry over, just more work for this year. I want to focus on school more.. I know I say that every year.. but I am more dedicated this year.

I might have to quit my job, which is fine.. I miss my family time. I hardly see James anymore and it's hard on my family. It has proved that the girls can be more responsible though.. so that is a good side effect.

I know I am rambling, just have alot on my mind.. and what better place to ramble than my own blog!

I have made a list of goals that I would like to accomplish this year.. but don't have time to post them right now. Main thing is to spend more time with God and my family.. learn to love myself..and then I can love my family like I should.

Yesterday we visited our friends that live in the country (yes 3 miles out is country). We had hoped to spend a few hours there, but a friend called and wanted me to babysit.. so we had about an hour with them. It seems if we plan a visit in advance, it rains or we have other complications. But last minute seems to work just fine.

We had a great weekend as a family.. speant it playing and just enjoying each other company.

This past Saturday we drove to Hays ( 4hours away) to my cousin Rachel's wedding, it was very beautiful and touching. There is something touching about watching a man cry at his wedding.

Sunday we drove to Valley Falls ( 1 1/2 hours away) to my folks house for Easter dinner, yes it was a week early due to church programs that will be on Easter. We had fun.. it was so sweet my neice R told me that she had been looking forward to seeing me all day. Love that girl, she is the same age my two girls and we just seem to connect.

This week is spring break, but we will be doing some major house cleaning, and school work.

I hope to get some new pictures taken of the kids playing so I can post them here.

On Wednesday we went and visited our Vickie and all her "kids".. two two legged kind and 11 or 13 four legged kind. All the kids had fun and Vickie and I had a great visit.

I learned all the momma goats names.. it was fun listening to Vickie and her boys trying to figure out which baby belonged to which mama.. Alice ...Alice Goat.

We adopted this precious little "Lady" from the local animal shelter and she has just won our hearts. She is a lab/??? mix.. and gorgeous! Only a few months old, but soo smart.

Of course girl still is not totally sure about her, but is learning to tolerate her. I think she is a little jealous.

Friday: Girls class 8:30-10;(boys reading 9-10); Girls art/Music 1-3:30

Of course then I do still work most nights 6-11:15.

Busy Lady

I thought I was going to slow down this year.. but it seems to have picked up speed instead.

M-F I am in town, the girls are getting extra tutoring help in Math, Reading, and English for 90 minutes a day. During that time the boys and I do school at TPLC, and they have their art & music lessons. Tuesdays we have Home School group learning classes. Thursdays we have a learning academy 2x a month, and the boys speech. Fridays the girls have their music/art lessons in the afternoon. And I work at Casey's 4-5 nights a week.

Mmmm dh time, for about 5-10 minutes a day during the week, weekends we see a little more each other.

I still have not got pictures of the new truck, nor have I gotten the pleasure of driving it. I did however get surprised with a key to it! (so I get to unlock my door...lol)

Life is busy, but I am trying to stay caught up.

New Year, New Truck

James went to Missori today and got his new truck. It's almost everything he was looking for in the new truck.. only it's not a 4x4. Not sure of the color.. I guess it is listed as green, but does look blue in certain light. It is a 1997 F-350 diesel crew cab, power everything it has grey interior. Our 6'3" friend went with him and sat in the back seat.. said there is plenty of room for our tall girls. (lol).

James also found a 24x20 two story shed on craigs list and went and checked it out on the way to get the truck. Sooooo we might have a new shed too!!

The Lord is already blessing us in the new year!!

Oh my goodness.. it is soooo nice... I love the truck!! As of right now I have only ridden in it to work, but I love it.

I seem to keep busy doing things.. but don't remember doing much..lol. This year seems to have flown by. I can't believe it is almost the new year.. where did the time go?

I have been working 20-25 hours a week at Casys in the evenings..I really do enjoy working there. I feel more confident and know that I can work when I need to. I have worked there long enough to make time and half on holidays!! I worked Christmas, and will be working New Years also.

I need to find some new pictures to post.. I love looking at other peoples pictures, maybe you all might looking at mine.

Have to head off to bed.. taken some cold meds and they are kicking in.

After much deliberation, I realized I had not made a post about my wreck on Dec.8th, so I thought I would post some pictures here. Most of the people that come here and read my blog know what happened.

So to make a long story short, I hit a patch of ice and ended up in the ditch on the drivers side. In order for them to get the kids and I out they had to break a few windows. We are all ok, recovered nicely.

We made it back safely, but made several additions to our families only one of the 2 legged kind.

James was able to get our fish tank set up and now we have 12 fish in there.

And our loveable neice is now living with us, not sure how long she will be, but for now she is. Hoping her mom follows through and gets the help she needs.

Trials.. and vacation time

We found out yesterday that hubby's mom has small cell lung cancer.. she is in the hospital and started her radiation treatment today. He and I went up and saw her for a little bit this evening, she was wiped out. The drs say she should make a full recovery after the 7 weeks of radiation. But it makes for a trying time right now.

Hubby and I are supposed to head off to Texas on vacation this Saturday while all the kiddos head off to my folks house for the week. Now it will hinge on if his mom is doing ok. ( Or as ok can be expected).

I have a lot to do in the last few days...lots of cleaning, packing.. etc. Still have to find someone to take care of the animals while we are gone.

Slim fast...

ok.. this morning I decided that I have a mini- goal of lossing 10 lbs by July 21st. If I am able to do that I will be at 199 lbs!! And then I will go from there with my next mini goal!!

So I started my slim fast plan again.. and I decided to allow myself the full 1,500 calories intake a day that they recommend rather than the 1,300 calorie that was the lowest plan they offer. So now I feel like I have more flexibility in what I eat.

Today.. I did not cheat.. even though I wanted to.. and I only took in 1,470 calories!! So still less than what I was allowed. Ok.. I forgot I drank a pop.. so I added that in.. before I did I only had 1,270 calories. So pop really is empty fatting calories!! Bad me on that.

We had a fun combined party for all the kids on Sunday with over 40 kids in attendence. We played organized games: Sack race, gopher tunnel, Egg relay, egg toss, cubby bunny, shoe pile scramble, Guess my name. It was a lot of fun.. I played alot with the kids.

I have joined a friend in the makeover scene..lol.

I have started moving more.. my exersise is dancing, walking, maybe bike ridiing.

Also I have started following my pouch rules again and that has helped limit what I eat. No drinking while eating, only eating till I fill satisfied. I may eat more smaller meals.. but I feel better. Also drinking a lot more water. If I don't want water I add the Crystal Light on the go pouches to it.

Few new things that are happening: 1. Oldest daughter is turning 12 tomorrow.. and thus starts the rounds of kids birthdays for us!!! 2. My parents are comming down on friday and my house is a mess... so that means today we will be doing a flight of the bumblee bee to get it clean. 3. Yesterday I reconnected with my best friend all through school!!! It was awesome, and we exchanged phone numbers so we could keep in touch.

That is my name.. and I have been extremely selfish. I know it, and I am sorry for it. I need to step back an evaluate what is important in my life. Is it my family, or STUFF? Will the stuff make me happy? Or will my being alone make me happy?

At any rate, I need to not be so selfish, and put my family first. IN ALL AREAS!! $$,happiness, home, etc.

This last week the kids were gone to my parents house so they could attend VBX ( vacation Bible school). James and I got along just great, no fighting.. just spending time together. However last night as we were comming home.. not sure if it was just cuz he was tired or what.. but he started being a real Arse. I stopped the van and told him he either needed to stop the rude comments or he could drive. So he hasn't talked to me since.

It just didn't make any sense for us to have such a great week and then to have him start acting like that.

Ok.. taking a deep breath.

- I was sexually abused by my birth mom's boyfriends, and so was my brother. one of them even made him & I have sex together.

Lately I have felt like I was not being honored by my husband as he is always at work, and I felt like I was a single parent basically. It didnt' help that he was grumpy most of the time. However.. I was not honoring him by having a clean home for him come home to. It stress him out more when he can't walk into our room.. except through a path way. I have decied that if I honor him, than he will honor me. He spoils me.. lets me go out with my friends when I want/can. So he deserves a little more respect from me and the children.

So starting today I am spending time with extra deep cleaning.. and then be more dilligent to teach the kids the correct way to clean.

Revelation

Lately I have felt like the only parent in this family unit.. as James works so much. However as we were having an argument this weekend I realized.. while I might not feel like he is honoring me, or uplifing me. I am not honoring him, I am not providing a home that he feels welcome in. So this week I will be purging the house, esp our bedroom.. and trying better to keep it clean. I will spend 1 hour a day on a room in the house to get it deep cleaned.. then spend 20 minutes everyday to keep it that way.

That is my goal.. and any prayer support is welcome to help me achive it!!

I love spring..I really want to go and plant something.. only problem I don't really have a green thumb. With James working 7 days a week.. he doesn't have time to till up the garden area. I colored my hair about a week ago.. and have never gotten around to posting it. I was just trying to hightlight it.. but turned out more like I had colored most of it.LOL

Well right now I am looking forward to getting our tax return as dh has said we can get a new Bigger Fridge!! And possibly even a dishwasher (yeah!!) And of course pay off some bills.

I ordered a few items off of Lane Bryant yesterday and did defer payment and we can pay for it with our tax return. Found out I am wearing the wrong bra.. Should be wearing a size 38F but I am still wearing 40DD. No wonder there is no support. LOL.

Over the last few weeks I have gone through a wide range of feelings. I felt violated when our van was busted into, disbelief that it happened to us, dispare when I realized all they got when they stole from us, tired from filling out all the paperwork involved.. and now I am just plan Pissed that I am the one places are going after to get their money. It doesn't matter that I had the bank send them back with signed affidavits that they were forged, these people just want their money.

It makes me want to scream.. I'm the victim!!! I didn't write these $1,000's of dollars of checks.. stop harrasing me!! I mean it took me over 2 weeks just to prove I was me so I could get a flippin drivers license.

Top all that crude off with being sick, and having everyone else sick too!! So for the past 3 weeks we have been just barely able to deal with life.

The only good news is my meds must be working as I haven't crawled under a rock yet.

Oh and the officer I am working with is awesome!! She has even given me her home phone number if I discover something and want to share it with her!! How cool is that!!

Crazy last few weeks

Jan. 27th The kids and I went to the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka and while we were there (between 9 am and 11:40 am) our van was broken into. They smashed in the drivers side window and took the kids christmas present from Mamma and Papa.. portable dvd player... the dvd in it.. my purse (which had my life in it.. ss cards, drivers licenses, digital camera, cell phone.. etc). So the last few weeks have been trying to get everything replaced.. oh and dealing with Forgery problems wit the bank ( they have been sooo helpful) The theifs have just had a blast.. speant over $5,000!! So it is a felony theft now. The cops were able to get a print off of one of the checks so maybe that will help out.

Today I was FINALLY able to get a new drivers license.. change my number too!!

Plus on top of everything everyone but James has been sick with a viral sore throat.. so crabby people here!!

So there is my update.. not very happy news.

Sad day for the Coops

Today we lost our beloved fur child Fuzzy one of our Guinea Pigs.. he has been with us for 2 years. He hadn't been acting right and I called the pet store yesterday and he suggested I wait for 24 hours before I call the vet. So this morning I woke up to him just laying still and "mewing" in pain.. I called the vet they suggest I get some gaterade and some white mineral oil to help him out.Thought he was just constipated or something. So we left to go and get the items.. took about 2 hours in all.. by the time we came back home.. it was too late. Fuzzy was gone. I knew I should have insisted on taking him in last night.. but I figured the people knew what they were talking about.

So tonight we will lay him to rest over by Eli (another fur child that passed on)..waiting on Dad to get home to dig the hole. I am very saddened by this as I picked Fuzzy out.. although they were presents for the children I still feel as though My heart has a hole in it.

Closet caper

As I was sitting in here on the phone to my "teacher" at the home office trying to figure out the loaner computer they gave me. I heard this THUD and the girls went running out of my room. The twins has decided to hide in the girls closet...and they TRIED to crawl up to the shelve in the closet.. needless to say my little junk shelve was pulled out of the closet.. out of the wall.. and all the girls clothes.. not to mention all of out T.P. is now all over the floor of the closet.

I am seeing RED!!!! And when daddy gets home.... I don't want to be around.. as he will be seeing RED!! So now we will have to fix the girls closet.. or just go buy some totes or something..I don't like the idea of folding up the girls dresses.. but we might have too for a while. hmm 5 Weird things about me...

1. No matter what the weather I have to have a blanket on me or else I can't sleep.
2.I cannot say Whorstershire.. no matter how hard I try.
3.Up until this year I could not spell Wednesday... I always spelled it Wedsday..LOL
4. I hardly ever fall down the stairs, only up them.
5.I don't sneeze the quiet lady sneezes... but very loud ones that make everyone jump.

Our table pc.. whatever you call it.. I think caught a "bug" and was running so slow and so dh is trying to reboot to back when we bought it. So now that it is acting up I am stuck using the laptop.. which is cool.. but tiring when i don't have everything bookmarked!!

Bboy lost his front 4 teeth, some damaged gums, and has 2 stiches. he is doing fine now.. still sore.. but he will be fine. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns.

I really wanted to Kick dh's butt for the last few days and tonight just set me off even more. He has been in a snit ever since his truck stopped working last week. He is pissed off at me for a few other reasons.. one I deserve but the other is just plan stupid. I have let the girls do the dishes in there cleaned bathtub a few times. .. well Monday they decieded to do some cups.. well they filled the tub and left the cups in there. Dh found them and chewed my butt good for it. Personally I thought it was no big deal.. whaaaaaaaa for him.

Tonight we bboy got hurt he threated to kick michaels butt if he pushed him off the bed.. ok didn't say that.. but the point was Michael was going to be in big trouble.. and his butt would hurt. Well while I was getting b boy dressed and the other kids were getting dressed Jason was so upset he threw up all over a pile of clothes in their room. Dh got pissed off about that.. I called his mom to see if she could come and help out with the kids so both dh and I could be with bboy in the ER.. guess what.. he got PO"d at that too!! Well she called back and asked if she could just take the kids to her house while we were at the ER.. he said fine.. then threw the phone accross the room.. I'm surprised the thing still works!!

He is just being an ass.. and I saw him head into the boys room before we left.. and was yelling.. I yelled, "don't you touch him or I'll be kicking your ASS!!"

He hasn't talked to me really all night.. just acting like this is all my fault that all this crap is going on.. Kiss my butt baby!!

Sorry I am in a horrible mood.. and am venting.

It's been awhile since I posted. I did finally get to bake my cookies..made about 4 dozen cookies, and 9 pumpkin pies, 2 dozen banana muffins, about 3 dozen Breakfast burritos. Took all but 3 pumpkin pies to Salina.

Our visit with family was lots of fun.. well for the most part it was. We stayed at a hotel for 2 days and did lots of swimming.. they have an indoor slide and I finally conqured my fears and went down it.. several times. It is high and twisty.

I now need to get back in the game of school. Speaking of which.. speech thearapist finally called and we take the boys in next friday for the first meeting. Yeah!! Can't wait to get that started.. the boys are kind of excited.

I Had big plans to bake some cookies the other day.. so went and got the tub of cookie dough and I find that all of it is almost gone. Oh i was upset. So now I have to make up some. Oh well. I have decided to bake pumpkin pies and more cookies. I'm also going to be making up some more breakfast burritos, and muffins.. that way to save some $$ for when we go to Thanksgiving in salina.

Weird post title huh? There are days when I just feel like I am going around and circles and not getting anywhere. Kind of like a dog spinning in circles trying to catch his tail... pointless. These last few days it seems like I am getting nothing doen. no school, no housework.. it's crazy. Now I know I have done some school, and I do housework.. but seems like not enough.

Dh got a great deal on some T.P. from work as they ordered the wrong kind and couldn't send it back.. so now I have 3 cases of 36 rolls sitting in my entry way... need to find some way to store it. So I feel like the house is a mess as that is what you see when you walk in.

I speant over an hour yesterday decluttering the girls clothes... so I have two big trashbags full of clothes to give away. But at least now the girls and see what clothes they have to wear.. and it's all clothes that they will wear. I went through and put all the boys summer clothes away and organized their clothes... again. GGGGEEEEzZzzz when will they be old enough to know .. take your dirty clothes to the laundry area????? It gets tiring having to tell them all the time.... and if I don't check.. I end up with no laundry... till I go search their rooms. UUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

And people wonder why I am so absentminded???? It got tired of the madness and left!!

Finally Friday

Oh the joy of finding out good news!! I can fit into smaller clothes!! A friend gave me some clothes .. that I figured would just fit my daughters.. but for the fun of it I tried a dress on and it FIT!! Whoo HOO!!

Plus my child support posted today... which meant I could fill up the gas guzzler.. That took way to much $$$$$!!

But then I look online.. and one of the companies I work for will be sending me out a check that was bigger than what I thought it would be!! Happy Day!!

Tonight I have to go and two assignments at Wal-mart, acutally I have 3.. but I think that would take to long.. so will do 2 tonight and then the other next week. Plus I have like 4 or 5 from other companies to do this month!!

And what do I do with this extra money.... I buy groceries!! Sometimes I use it on something special for the kids. But mainly to help out with groceries.

At least not with my dryer... we went and were able to buy a washer/dryer set today from a family friend for $75. Whoo HOO!! I am so happy.. I have tried 2 loads tonight.. and it's sooo quiet!! Also bought 4 bras at a garage sale today... not often I find bras my size at yard sales. So all together a great day!!

Ok enough is enough... we need..no make that NEED a new dryer.. I can not handle the squeeking going on here. I try to ignore it.. but between that and the kids need to talk/yell all the time.. I amm at my wits end. I might have to run away till we can get a new one. We have to go look at and have payment arrangements in place.. just need to get a hold of the person so we can go get it... oh and have the $$$.

Then.. I go and register at Mcdonalds to play their online game of monolpy... cool, huh? However.. when you return to play again.. there is no login area... and when you try to play.. it says "use the login email address" But Where in the fudge do you login at!!!!!!! Oh I was so frustrated...still am!!!

And then I have dh who cannot figure out how to pour 2Liters of water out of my 2qt batter bowl. So I go and just put 1Liter in.. pour it out.. then fill it up to 1Liter again. I mean hello!!!! If you fill it up to the 2Liter mark.. no it's not going to pour nice and neat.

I am getting very frustrated with our Schooling.. we have to log on to get out lesson plans.. but the stinking site won't log on!! I have tried waiting it out.. and it take toooo long.. esp when you have 5 children, with 3 different age groups to school!!! AAAAAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggg!!!

So I will try again today.. I really hope they have it fixed.. or they will be getting a very frustrated call from me.

One of my "jobs" for our local homeschool group is to cordinate field trips. Well I feel I have done a pretty good job. However we just had one on Tuesday.. and I had to tell people they couldn't attend. I had one person send me two not very nice emails about the whole thing. So I had to send out an email to the group.. reinerating the "rules" for attending future trips. I mean come on people.. I always say I need to know a final count 1 week in advance... normally not a problem if more call at the last minute.. but there are a few that say only x amount can attend. And there were at least 3 families that didn't even contact ME about going... they had contacted someone else... well that someone else didn't contact ME either. At any rate.. I hope they all understand me know. I did write it nicely.. even though I didn't feel like it.

today I did not do much of anything.. we watched a friends son the last two nights and all he did was yell and throw fits if I so much as looked at him. That was very tiring... then this morning I woke up and could barely walk as the small of back was hurting something fierce.

Tomorrow we will go on a Homeschool field trip to Wolf Creek power plant.. so that should be fun!! Taking our camera. Dh even took the day off to go with us.. yeah!! After we get back home.. I have to go and an audit for work.. $15/hr.. so I won't complain..LOL.

ok.. so this weekend will be kind of busy. Dh is working tomorrow.. he has worked 6 days a week for the last 3 weeks.. getting old.. but the $$$ is good. We have our home town "Americus Days" on Saturday that the kids and I will go to while he is at work.

I am now.. as of tonight .. I work for 4 different companies. One all I do is movie trailer audits ( I get in free.. write down the ad's and the movie previews), Two I go and do independent contract work ( place different signs in stores..do book aduits), One I just go and do little shops for (like movie rentals, grocery shops). They are alot of fun.. and very easy to do!! Some of them I even have to use my digital cam on. Feel free to go and check it out.

Tonight I went and did one of my shops.. I have another one to do tomorrow!! I also went to a scrap night.. and did 6 pages!!! Whoo HOO.. I have a few things I want to add to them.. but I am happy that I did that many.
